  • Operating since 2020

Running artist campaigns for years, not weeks.

  • Independent artists & labels

From first releases to established catalogues.

  • Worldwide campaigns

Curators and listeners across multiple regions.

Not every playlist fits every track. Curators are approached only where the genre and mood match.

How it works

One campaign flow, start to finish.

Campaigns run four to eight weeks. Activity usually builds gradually rather than all at once.

  1. 01

    Payment confirmed, track received

Checkout completes, your track and campaign details are received and your campaign is created.

    • Primary genre
    • Payment confirmed
  2. 02

    Track review and playlist matching

Sound, mood, tempo and audience fit are reviewed, then a genre and mood shortlist is matched.

    • Campaign live
    • Placement monitoring

The network

Your track, matched to the right independent curators.

A campaign buys promotion, genre matching and curator outreach. If we cannot secure at least one eligible playlist placement during your paid campaign window, the campaign fee is eligible for a full refund.

Your track

Paste your Spotify track above to see it move through the campaign flow.

Track review

You choose the genre and mood — we never guess them automatically from a Spotify link.

Campaigns

Pick a level that fits your release.

Simple, approachable campaign levels in USD. Placement or your money back: one eligible playlist placement, or your campaign fee is refundable. Streaming results vary.

All campaign levels are currently open for new releases.

Measurement

What you can measure during a campaign.

We never ask you to trust a dashboard we built. Everything that matters is visible in your own Spotify for Artists account.

  • Streams and listeners

Daily streams and unique listeners over the campaign window.

  • Saves and playlist adds

Saves to libraries and adds to playlists as they happen.

  • Source of streams

Which active and programmed sources listening came from.

  • Top countries and cities

    Where listening is concentrated geographically.

  • Followers and streams per listener

Follower change and how repeatedly people play the track.

How Spotify counts a stream

A song stream is counted when a listener plays a song for at least 30 seconds.

This is Spotify's own rule, not a SebastianLoveInc rule.

Curators choose

Every curator decides independently whether a track fits their playlist.

Placement or refund

If we cannot secure at least one eligible playlist placement during your paid campaign window, the campaign fee is eligible for a full refund.

Results vary

Streams, listeners and saves depend on the track and the moment. There is no fixed outcome.

Gradual activity

Campaigns build over days and weeks rather than spiking overnight.

Removal on request

Ask us at any time and we will request removal from playlists we placed.

Source of streams

Know where your streams come from.

Spotify splits listening into active sources, where the listener chose you, and programmed sources, where a playlist or algorithm did. Both matter for different reasons.

Active sources

The listener chose your track deliberately.

  • Artist profile & catalog

Plays started from your profile, albums or singles.

  • Listener library & personal playlists

Plays from a listener's own saved music and playlists.

  • Listener queue

Plays a listener explicitly queued up.

Programmed sources

Your track was served through a playlist or Spotify programming.

  • Editorial and personalized playlists

Spotify editorial and personalized editorial playlists.

  • Algorithmic playlists, Radio and Autoplay

Mixes, radio and autoplay generated by Spotify.

  • Other listeners' playlists

Playlists created by other Spotify listeners.

Where we show up

Independent playlist activity can appear under Other listeners' playlists. Spotify for Artists remains the source of truth.

Source of Streams is available on Audience, Song and Release overview pages under Segmentation.

Good to know

  • Listener subtotals across sources can exceed total listeners, because one listener may use multiple sources.
  • Spotify for Artists stats are recorded in UTC.

Before your campaign

Six minutes of prep that makes a campaign readable.

Do these before you submit, so you can tell afterwards what actually changed.

Spotify editorial pitching and SebastianLoveInc promotion are separate.

Editorial pitching for unreleased music is free in Spotify for Artists. Submit at least seven days before release.

How Spotify playlist pitching worksOpens in a new tab
  1. 01Confirm the track is publicly available on Spotify.
  2. 02Copy the full Spotify track link, not an artist or album link.
  3. 03Open Spotify for Artists and note the current baseline.
  4. 04Check current listeners, saves, followers and Source of Streams.
  5. 05Choose the closest genres and moods honestly.
  6. 06For unreleased music, use Spotify's free editorial pitch separately and submit at least seven days before release.
